Electronics, Document Shredding, Pesticides, Herbicides & Oil-Based Paints Collection Event

Richmond residential collection and disposal only. This event is NOT for commercial or business disposal.
WHEN: Saturday, September 15, 2018 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
WHERE: 6807 Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond 23225 (closed Kmart parking lot at Midlothian and Chippenham)
Up to 5 boxes or 5 paper bags of PERSONAL documents including:
Taxes, bank statements, canceled checks, credit card statements and receipts, financial accounts, medical records, and insurance documents.
We cannot accept COMMERCIAL BUSINESS documents, X Rays, cardboard, plastic bags, metal, batteries, CDs, notebooks, binders, or bags of previously shredded papers.
TVs: $12 fee for LCD TVs.
$23 fee for old TVs up to 27 inches
$30 fee for old TVs over 27 inches
Printers: $2.50 fee for desktop printers
$7.50 fee for office pinters over 25 lbs.
Computer systems (hard drive, CPU, monitor) Computer accessories (cables, wires, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.). Printers, scanners, copiers and fax machines. VCRs, camcorders, stereos and all phones.
Pesticides, Herbicides and Oil-Based Paints and Oil-based Stains
Help keep these hazardous materials out of our streams and rivers. Please bring to event for proper disposal.
Note: Latex Paints will not be accepted – these can be left open until dried up and then put out with regular curbside trash pickup.
Small Recycle Tubs
Clean up and drop off your old curbside recycling bins for reuse in the schools.
